A sweetheart of a shape, the Courtly Check Fluted Heart Plate is a blissful addition to any home, and a thoughtful gift for a beloved friend. Formed from terra cotta drawn from the heart of the earth, hand-painted with our signature patterns by our master artisans, and embellished with gold lustre. Look carefully at the Courtly Checks because, like many matters of the heart, there’s more there than meets the eye. A beautiful juxtaposition of ivory and onyx, our deceptively simple signature checks reveal an intricate spectrum of jewel-toned colors. Handmade, fired, glazed, fired again, hand-painted, embellished with lustre, and fired again, each piece is stamped by the artisans involved in its creation.
